i for myself dislike stadium but am still thankful as it made me meet new people in tmu...
maurice and figos of ys-tp would never play tm otherwise..and they are important teammembers for us
and seriously....FIGOS :P..that dude loves to train all day..i mean what the hell i never met such a guy before


i know many tmn players who just say the tmu envos are way too bugged and suck as hell..and we all know they are just too lazy learning them :P. Just ignore them as there are always ppl like that in every game.
I have high respect of frost for ruling in TMN for 4 years or sth...
but the true tm masters are allaround talents who can kick ass in all envis(and no...i wont mention any name :P)

But this thread should focus on tm2 and not the bitchfight between the communities

Of course i wrote from my point of view(Tm since 2004 powaa )..and the comment of tmn players beeing lazy was sarcastic...the thing i wanted to say is that people should stop the tmn vs tmu discussion in this thread.
i even said i am grateful that i could meet new people thanks to tmn..
the only attack against tmn was my they are lazy statement and that i said that the true tm masters are the allarounders from my point of view(best example was Sandder^^)

Most of you is thinking "Oh fuck, new community members from TMNF they are kiddies and flam0rs" It's not the way! EVEN the TMNF community is A LOT better than ALL OTHER eSport communities.

That was true for the first 3 years. I can at least say that as a fact, I have no idea how it is today.
But that was because all the stupid kiddies wanted to play CS all day so they could headshot other noobs and cry HAX when they sucked. No wallhax in TM, and no shooting other noobs make TM very boring game.

As you say, TM is now reaching out very far due to it's successes and making many more people want to play. But aren't many of those new people actually old CS noob kiddies?

I remember how other esports players, CS in particular, would mock TM when nWo was starting to look for sponsors in late 2006. "lol what is that noob game? no collisions, lol such a noob game. it's like tetris on ESWC". All sorts of shit comments. And because it is an arcade racer, and most people have closed minds, the people who actually were interested in trying were a better sort of people.

But as I said earlier, now that TM is becoming the prime esports game finally, won't all the "i only play for money, not fun", and other cs kiddies join your community and make it devolve into a shitfest? I don't mean to insult, I love the (old) TMN community, but I've already seen a few examples, and I can only imagine where it can go.

but it's also the treuth, that most of TMN drivers think, they are the "tm gods", but they never felt the real TM spirit as well.
i dont want to criticize anyone of the top TMNF players out there, but if i just read different topics during the forums, like:
"Trackmania 2 ... where's the stadium ? ... this cant be trackmania..." -than i'm going crazy.

its just the trueth - TMNF players dont know anything about the spirit (on average) and dont respect TMU players, because TMN is the esport game, for example played in ESL. (only cause it looked like the ESL headadmins also didnt done).

i agree, a united community (hahaha lol) would be better, but the differences are so to say too big - or just too long ago...

anyhow, i just noticed, that TM2 have a new chance to go to the ESL and other esport platforms. maybe this could be a conclusion. i am interested in.

I've seen many cases where TMN players buy united, try it one time and notice that they are not good at it instantly and return to TMN, at least they can have they'r custom skins afterwards....
