I felt the urge to chip in:

If it is as many of you have said that TMN is one game, and dirt should not be treated as a separate environment, then you should allow dirt tracks and tracks with lots of dirt parts to be played in NC and STC.

My two cents.

Have we ever denied people building dirt-parts on their submitted tracks for NC/STC? NO.

If the dirt-parts are properly built then that's no problem, but the main problem with dirt-parts in stadium-tracks are that they are either buggy or very badly built.

But understand we don't want "dirt-parts" on stc maps, we want dirt tracks :p and the most dirt mapper do really good dirt maps without bug ^^

It's like you said that in dirt cup you put some road maps...it's useless, because road players will not play in a dirt cup just to play on 2 or 3 road maps at all ^^

So? Are we enough convincing to give the dirt community a chance or not? ^^

I think you'll have to wake up the ET management (http://www.et-generation.com/forum/auc_listing.php?id=1) since they haven't joined the discussion at all while they would be the ones setting up such a thing.

The current admins don't seem to be interested in being head admin for something like this either, so there would probably have to be a new one. And only the ET management can do that, too.

What if we tried it with a weekend cup first, to estimate the real interest in the community and feedback? And if it's successful, one could fire up a season on a more regular basis.

PS: I haven't read the whole thread...

If you want, but when you say a weekend cup, you mean a real cup, not a fun cup like MMC? If yes, i'm ok to do this and help you if you want, but i think the dirt community will be present for sure :)
