I seem to remember Nadeo's only explanation for increases in bugs etc (during the beta stage) was the possibility that slight changes could occur due to the rounding up of numbers in the calculations done during program development. They strenuously denied that the physics were any different.

If this is the case that they havent changed the physics on purpose, and these bugs are just a side effect of the development of the Trackmania game engine over time. Would seem very difficult to remove them imo, but pretty easy to make some new ones with further environment or game engine development.

For example the hillturn part on island has a 1 on 1 bug. But that is just like landing on rammsteins in stadium. Just dont do it.

That's right, but if Nadeo take off all the bugs, TM could be less fun... :(

I just want to get a more complex editor.

Not really, your idea would affect the whole game, not just the editor.

A more complex editor would simply have more options to place the blocks within the current editor and .challenge.gbx file format constraints. Like paving a whole 10x10 area with a certain block by clicking and dragging, or moving a whole track by a few squares.

You probably meant "more complex track format" or something like that.

Considering I did not get the bay tunnel bug one single time on TMU and got it in the first competition on TMUF, I'd say you're under-stating it :p

(could possibly blame the author...)

I think Aassie means the one you sometimes get in a tunnel turn. There's like an invisible rock and you start flying when you get the bug. Was it this one? PDT_001

Hmm I got that bug on the round 3 or 4 coast map actually... Sometimes I'd hit an invisible rock and fly into the cliff.. Bram or Boum also got it. :x
It was if you go too fast, but still quite rocky-lol.

And personally I'd love a totally new TM2.
Why I choose that "unrealistic" option is because clearly the bugs in the current engine will never be eliminated. With more advances or features, there might even be more bugs, and to me that has eliminated alot of the fun since the release of the Forever series.

I've only been playing this game for almost 3 years now, and I'm already quite bored to the extent that I don't go on random servers anymore. I do still love the competition and leagues though, which is like Digital-Weed for me.
I wonder what people who've been playing since TMO must be feeling... Maybe they also love the leagues, but playing the same blocks for so long on random servers must be like making a PF boost all day.

A totally new TM2 would bring more genius arcade racing from Nadeo, in the same style as TM1, but totally new and fresh. maybe that would last another 5 or so years till we'd want a TM3.

Probably TM2 won't come out now though, especially with the whole "Forever" tag.
New environments would be great though, but making us pay for them would not be logical, in that the community would be split up again... those who payed, and those who didn't pay. The aim of "United Forever" is to unite the community and keep them together, am I right?

That was my 1 cent. PDT_006

I've never had it there lol^^

But on Revelation of Evolm I had a weird bug on Bay. Was during the Match against ys-tp at the long upwardspart I got in the middle of the turn a minibump. But I felt and saw it and my Car began to slide. Lost 15 seconds for the respawn >.<"

In the stats Feanor (or Meister) stated 2 crashes for me, but only was 1 xD The other one was a bug ;P
