Hello all,
With the UL4 having ended for most teams, LE10 will be coming back soon for it's 10th edition. The oldest of our TM franchises will be back in december and january, with a major new feature.
As already stated during the UL discussions, we are going to
- merge the D1 and D2 and split all the teams into D1A and D1B divisions
- the top 2 teams of D1A and DIB divisions will meets after the end of the season for a small playoff, which will decide the winner of the competition.
Besides that, the LE rules will remain the same.
Regarding the schedule:
- This week: Registrations will open at some point :-)
- Next Monday: Division proposal topic (the last one of the 2008.. don't miss our biggest show )
- Next Wednesday: map pack for Round 1-3 will be released
- Next Friday: division and schedule creation
- Wednesday Dec 3: Round 1 / Dec 10: Round 2 / Dec 17: Round 3)
- XMas Break
- Last 4 rounds will be played in January
- playoffs in February, before the UL5.
Thats all for now
Mazzy

doesnt fit. Since that would mean one week less between UL and LE or SL. Which wouldnt fit at all, since its completely packed there already.
you dont HAVE to play all leagues
ill skip LE as well i think. |

So you just make LE and SL one week shorter.
Works out for the ladder as well. 6 LE maps and 2x3 UL maps per enviro each year.
Don't kill me, I'm just suggesting a way it CAN work. _________________

Do you actually think it will be bigger than the UL4 one?
Btw, I look forward to my first LE
PS : Will this A+B thing only occur in Div1(+2) ?
Or in all divisions?
My guess is on mixing div1+2 only, but I would welcome a clear answer _________________

It can't work, because it doesn't add up.
1: You still need 7 weeks to complete the schedule, because 6 rounds means 7 teams in each division where 1 team will not play each round.
2: For UL it doesn't add up with the maps either. You'd get 3 maps on 4 environments and 2 maps on the other 3 environments. _________________

I wasn't meaning 6 rounds for UL, just for LE and SL. But nevermind, slight brain explosion on my behalf, as obviously an even number of teams is needed.
Forget I said anything..... _________________

wouldn't work... it's either 8 teams / divisions and 7 rounds, either 6 teams and 5 rounds... 7 teams per division would mean one team doesn't play a round every round, but the number of rounds would still be 7. and a 5 week LE or SL wouldn't be very fair.

I would be highly surprised... Especially since the D1A D1B thing will remove most of the talk regarding who's going to D1 and who stays in D2...

Only D1A D1B... D3 will become D2, D3 will become D4, and so on... |

*cough* yeah, our (belgian) beer is awesome, but don't abuse of it !!!
But thx for the clear answer (if we exchange the last D3 with the D4 ^^) _________________

Hi all, I saw there's a link to the LE10 in the homepage and I thought registrations were open,
but that link (http://www.et-leagues.com/le10/) is not working yet... when will registrations start?
Thank you |

It looks like the portal was updated a bit early. The LE10 page will be opened when registrations are announced, and not sooner _________________
