LE10 Match Reports

Div 1 B Round 7

TnT vs. hal.ko.

Only a small report, not every run :-)

Rally:

ETS, Newimer, Starbuck vs. Pagaisu, Stef, Echo

We were expecting hal.ko. as an excellent rally team and so it was.
I was quite nervous because of several problems that appeared just before the match. Pagaisu injured his knee and decided just before the match that he can play (it was his left knee....pffft who needs to brake^^) Echo had Pad problems and dint train much and Stef had his lag problems like always.

All runs on that map were very close with excellent times. All 3 TnT players drove a new PB in the match which was just awesome. Echo did 1.01.70 before the match and in match 1.00.90! GG for that.

Finally we could score point after points due to a great team performance.

Score: 7:2 TnT

Snow:

Newimer, Bowser, Gwock vs. Maxou, Soro, Darkhawk

Not much to say here. hal.ko was pretty fast and pretty regular. All 3 players regular in 1.00 while TnT was not regular enough. GG to Newimer and MAxou who both managed to drive a high 59 in match. PB for Maxou! KB POWA! :-)

Score: 2:7 hal.ko.

Desert:

Newimer, Bowser, HarD vs. Grobi, Soro, Darkhawk

TnT was quite good prepared for that map. I mst say another big GG to NIK for this excellent league map!

There wasnt really a chance for hal.ko. although they did some good times.
Grobi (that´s me^^) and Soro won most of the runs in low 56 and some 55 followed by Darki who secured the points.
That was truly a good map for TnT.

Yep that was a nice match

old players still fight correctly :P

the snow map was great, I think I did one of my best match perf ever but it was still not enough against you, you were damn good gg!

well. desert was quite imba. we were pretty good but not excellent and you were incredible regular on really hard times. like us on snow^^
rally went very disappointing for us. last match we were very consistant on rally with good times. when we would have driven rally like in our match against UMF, we eventually could have won this map. but thats just speculative. our consistency depends on the map ^_^
an expected great performance of you. GG. love to drive UL5 against you

As we played our last match tonight, I'd like to thank all players, our own and opponents, on behalf of the Elk Hunters for five amazing years of competitions. After 21 competitions it's time to stop (10xLE, 6xSL, 4xUL, 1xTNL).

Our last match had some great battles, even though it ended 7-1, 7-2, 7-1 in favor of LSD. Sadly hk had a lot of troubles with his monitor during the match (thank you very much LSD for letting him turn off his computer for 15 minutes before the last map

), and this obviously affected his driving.
For me it was a bit cool to play my last LE match against LSD, considering that I played my very first match in LE1 against rm (som of you will see that connection

).

eh will have a last shootout next Thursday (Feb. 19) with a bunch of our own (fun) maps and some favourite league maps. I hope the rest of you'll pop by also

Yes, it feels a bit sad that it's over after 5 years, but surprisingly I expected that it would feel worse than this. It really doesn't feel like I'm giving something up. That's probably a sign that it's the right time

I will play FET4, and after that I'll give up the racing part of TM (well, who knows about weekend cups

). Simply will of course play FETN; what he plans for TMU I don't know. Some of our players the past players which didn't play LE10 are still playing TMN competitions. Gandos, guom and Hardk0re are not planning on playing any more competitions, allthough you might meet them online from time to time (probably not HK ^^).

There aren't many other original LE1 teams left (we are still the same team that played the first round in LE1, no merging with another team and no splitting up into fractions, the only thing we ever changed was the team name) that played every LE, SL and UL, so I'm quite proud of what we have accomplished. I doubt Jason and Rosco would have foreseen that the team would last till 2009 when it was founded in early 2004

eh...

since i started leagueracing only at the UL1/LE10/FET2, i haven't had the pleasure to follow your team from the beginning on, but it's sure on of the most well known teams for me!! ^^ and a team with one of the most original names around. ^^

i guess we'll still see you around sometimes aassie, gued (edit: guom), simply and other ehs.

i think i was, i'm and i will be the only eh~ who plays on official servers (like mistral) for fun

I don't play Wednesday-tournaments anymore, but the FETs <3

As the newest member of eh~, i haven't a big story to tell, but i want to thank AAssie, hardk0re, guom and Gandos for an awesome time and for meeting such nice guys!!
