The TMNF community is a whole different community compared to TMUF, and I think we deserve some love from Nadeo as well.

Haven't you got enough love from Nadeo in the past years? Players who're playing from the beginning of TM haven't seen anything REALLY new for more than 3 years now (with TMN release in January 2006). Ok, TMU was a great improvement too, so let's say nearly 3 years (TMU release = November 2006).
TMN has been promoted in every video game event that took place since its release, by Focus, Nadeo, and Hylis himself. Some people don't even know that other environments exist. When talking about Trackmania, Hylis always means TMN or Stadium (even this week-end), what's a little bit disappointing for TMU players (I discussed with some and they thought the same).
On the French official Forum, news mostly are about TMN and its competitions (I mean there are no news for TMU competitions).

Don't make me say what I didn't: I'm not telling you that I'd like loads of news about TMU, and that I'm just crying because TMU players aren't as famous as TMN ones. I just wanted to tell you TMN got enough love from Nadeo (and I didn't mention the free upgrade of TMN), and it's pretty normal this is TMU's turn (in fact TM2 also is for TMN players, but I don't see persons who are playing only 1 environment for 3 years buying 3 new envos).

There are 3 new environments planned, and that's great. We were dreaming of that kind of thing for a long time, it rocks it becomes real.

my oppinion is that TMNF will stay live for ever, unless we do a replacement. TM2 is not a replacement in my oppinion, for the moment

To this 'for the moment'. There are 2 ways to 'replace' TMNF:
1st: Buld up an Addon on the basis of TM2 (you need to buy TM2 to get the eSport - competitive - update).
This one wont be as active as TMNF as it COSTS
2nd: Add a new prizeless game on the basis of TM2
I guess they wont do that and if they do it it would be a step which is not their best.

TMNF is at the moment the best eSport racing game in the entire world and I see no point why Nadeo should change something here and to be honest: I dont think they will!

Beside that: Of course the ESL will open a TM2 section as well and see how it runs (that you have some opponent :P). I will love to take care of it and I am - as a Nations and a United Player - pretty much excited about the new game and cant wait for it. I will definitely buy it and enjoy to play!

That was exactly my point. TMF replaced TMU and TMN. TMNF was just a stripped down TMUF. I thought my joke/sarcasm was obvious enough.

The point of my jape was: just because TM2 has 3 environments doesn't mean it can't replace TMNF. TMF had 7 environments and it replaced TMN. Having a TMN2 which is a single-environment, stripped down version of TM2 doesn't exactly seem like a difficult concept, particularly given that we have the existing example of TMUF/TMNF.

If that's not clear enough, try recasting all your points to be about the switch from TMN to TMNF. Do your points still hold? (Hint: they are shown to be false)

These points about the TMN TMNF switch are clearly nonsense. Why would they make any more sense if applied to a hypothetical TMNF TMN2 switch? (I mean, apart from that it's a hypothetical switch )

Trackmania Forever was an UPDATE made for both AT THE SAME TIME - TMU AND TMN. They never updated TMU to TMUF and TMN to TMNF but combined TMN AND TMU to TMF - to but it together in 1 signle game.
I know that you all think that TMNF and TMUF are 2 differents, but i my opinion there is only 1 reason to have 2 different plattforms here and thats because: Stadium in standalone should be for free.

IF they really replace TMNF than with an update of TM2 - not with TM2 in first place. And this update have to be a standalone version combined with the full game - just like TMNF was.
I cant believe they will do a second 'demo' for their game.

so actually you are saying that TMF is the real game, the full game and that stadium is a demo of that which takes place in the game, but which is restricted?

If people ask you, which games you play, do you say 'i play TMF' or do you say 'i play TMNF'.

since the first option isnt right, if you dont have full TMF access imho, and thats why its not the same game imo.

yes - TMNF is something like a demo to TMF I would say - I said 'something like' not 'definitely'!

If they ask me I would say I play Trackmania without more additions. But I bought the game anyway, so...
